FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the agriculture. Method for detecting different quality of hybrids and sugar beet roots involves sampling, washing, drying, sprouting of control and test group seeds in plastic containers on filter paper in four replicates of 100 pieces each at constant temperature of 22–25 °C, sprout energy counting. Method includes pre-sowing treatment of control group of hybrids and beet roots lines by soaking Zeroks® (VKR) preparation (3000 mg/l of colloidal silver) in water solution in concentration of 10 % in volume ratio of 1:1 with exposure of 15 s. Zeroks® (VKR) preparation is used as a provoking factor and agrotechnical technique. Further, the length of the sprout is calculated, the weight of sprout on 4th day after sprouting begins. Seedling Length, Seedling Weight, Germination Power signs of the seed samples treated with the preparation solution are compared with the values obtained for the control group. Identified changes by modulus of Seedling Length, Seedling Weight, signs are considered as indicators of different quality of hybrids and lines at early stages of plant development.

EFFECT: method for detecting different quality of hybrids and sugar beet lines due to the inclusion of an additional evaluation on the Seedling Length and Seedling Weight signs enables to increase the sugar beet seeds different quality assessment accuracy by the Germination Power criterion and evaluate the hybrids and lines heterogeneity at the early stages of development plants.
