SUBSTANCE: plant growth regulators. The use of 6-hydroxy-2,2,4-trimethyl-1,2-dihydroquinoline as a sugar beet growth stimulator is proposed, including the treatment of uncoated seeds by soaking them in an aqueous solution of 6-hydroxy-2,2,4-trimethyl-1,2 -dihydroquinoline with a mass fraction of 0.01 to 0.1% in a volume ratio of 1:1 at a temperature of 22°C with an exposure of 18 hours.

EFFECT: use of 6-hydroxy-2,2,4-trimethyl-1,2-dihydroquinoline as a sugar beet growth stimulator improves the sowing qualities of seeds, which are manifested in an increase in seed sprouting energy, germinating ability, average seedling length and a mass of 100 seedlings.
