METHOD OF LOW-VISCOSITY MARINE FUEL PRODUCTION Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC C10L1/00

Abstract RU 2723115 C1

FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing marine low-viscosity fuel and can be used in oil refining industry. Method involves distillation of oil with separation of vacuum gas oil fraction with addition of additive and is characterized by that during distillation of oil is extracted fraction of light vacuum gas oil, boiling at temperature from 290 to 430 °C, and heavy vacuum gas oil boiling at temperature from 430 to 550 °C, then mixed them in weight ratio of 30–40:60–70 and subjected to hydrocracking in stationary layer of aluminosilicate-nickel-molybdenum catalyst at temperature from 340 to 390 °C and pressure from 15.6 up to 17.1 MPa, with separation of diesel fraction of hydrocracking boiling at temperature from 200 to 360 °C, and compounding of diesel fraction of hydrocracking and light vacuum gas oil, taken in their weight ratio: diesel fraction hydrocracking 35–80 and light vacuum gas oil 20–65, depressor-dispersant additive used is a mixture consisting of 10 wt% of copolymer of ethylene with vinyl acetate, 20 wt% of amidoimidazoline and 70 wt% of toluene, in amount of 0.01–0.50 wt%.

EFFECT: disclosed is a novel method which enables to obtain marine low-viscosity fuel with improved low-temperature properties, which meets the requirements of TU 38_101567-2005 and GOST 32510-2013, for medium-speed and high-speed diesel engines.
