INDUCTION THERMAL DESORPTION UNIT FOR THERMAL DECONTAMINATION OF INDUSTRIAL PETROLEUM-CONTAINING WASTE Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC B09C1/06

Abstract RU 2753356 C1

FIELD: petroleum processing.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to apparatuses for processing and utilisation of petroleum sludge and soil contaminated with petroleum or petroleum products. The unit contains a raw material supply unit the outlet whereof is connected to the inlet of the thermal treatment module by a screw and/or a pipeline with a pump, wherein both supply lines to the thermal treatment unit are equipped with a heating system for the transported material, the outlet of the thermal treatment module for solid products is connected to a processed material unloading unit, and for gaseous products - to a gas purification unit the outputs whereof are connected to a condensation and separation unit and to a uncondensed gas purification unit, the outputs of the condensation and separation unit are connected via a cooling system unit to storage tanks. The raw material supply unit comprises a hopper wherein at least two mixers and a working platform with a ladder are located. A raw material level sensor is additionally installed on the upper part of the hopper of the raw material supply unit. The unloading unit comprises an unloading hopper, an unloading screw, a controlled solid phase hopper on the upper part whereof a processed material level sensor is installed, and installed in the hopper are a stirrer configured to control said level sensor, a rotary valve installed between the thermally treated material unloading unit and the unloading screw configured to adjust the level of the material. The heat treatment module is made in form of a set of sectional thermal treatment chambers made of wear-resistant steel with a non-contact annular local induction heating system and comprises a jacket filled with a heat carrier and a mixing screw ensuring movement of the material to the thermally treated material unloading point, wherein the scrapers of the screw contain a setting mechanism allowing to minimise the gap between the wall of the thermal treatment module and the scraper, and the blades and scrapers of the screw mixer are made with deposition of a hard-alloy metal.

EFFECT: technical result achieved upon implementation of the developed unit consists in obtaining a mobile easily assembled universal unit for processing solid materials at any degree of moisture contaminated with organic materials.
