FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to propylene copolymers of 1-hexene which are suitable for preparing films. Described is a propylene copolymer of 1-hexene containing 5.5–9.0 wt % derivatives of 1-hexene units, having two peaks on a DSC plot, having a height difference of 0–5 mWt. Higher melting point of the copolymer, measured using DSC, is 142.0–149.0 °C. Melt flow rate (MFR) of the copolymer, measured by ASTM D 1238, 230 °C/2.16 kg, is 3.5–8.0 g/10 min. Solubility in xylene at 25 °C ranges from more than 12 to less than or equal to 25 wt %.
EFFECT: technical result is providing a propylene copolymer of 1-hexene, having low turbidity and low SIT.
