FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to urology, and can be used to determine the length of lithotripsy following resolution of obstruction in urolithiasis. Method involves taking a urine sample from an affected kidney, determining in it by solid-phase immunoassay enzyme immunoassay analysis of concentrations of interleukin-8 (IL-8) and creatinine, wherein sampling urine is performed on 21st day after the first stage of surgical treatment – percutaneous nephrostomy, in which additionally concentration of monocyte chemotactic factor-1 (MCP-1) is determined, recalculation is carried out to medians of reference values of sum of concentrations of IL-8 and MCP-1 with calculation of coefficient K1, as well as separately concentration of creatinine with calculating coefficient K2, determining a value of stopping pathological processes in kidney K, equal to ratio of K1 and K2, K>1.85 prolongs the second stage of surgical treatment – lithotripsy for 7 days with repeated weekly determination of K, while K≤1.85 – lithotripsy is performed.
EFFECT: technical result consists in ensuring the rationality of making a medical decision on the timing of lithotripsy after resolution of obstruction in urolithiasis by improving the reliability of determining the abnormal kidney processes and the accuracy of assessing the recovery of impaired renal functions.
