METHOD OF ELECTROCHEMICAL DETERMINATION OF PRESENCE OF INFLAMMATORY PROCESS IN CALCULOUS PYELONEPHRITIS Russian patent published in 2024 - IPC G01N33/48 G01N33/487 G01N33/493

Abstract RU 2812228 C1

FIELD: medicine; urology.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for electrochemical determination of the presence of an inflammatory process in calculous pyelonephritis. Urine examination is carried out using the joulemetric method. A patient's urine sample is introduced into a liquid flow sensor, where a current of a certain amplitude is applied to the urine sample. The current for the sample is determined. When a current is from 40.2 to 47.6 mJ, the absence of an inflammatory process in calculous pyelonephritis is determined. When the current is from 55.09 to 64.3 mJ, the presence of an inflammatory process in calculous pyelonephritis is determined.

EFFECT: method provides the ability to increase the accuracy of diagnosing the activity of calculous pyelonephritis, including after performing percutaneous interventions to remove stones in the immediate postoperative period by analyzing the values of the electric current in dynamics over a certain period of time for each sample, calculated when conducting a study using the joulemetric method of urine portions, obtained from renal drainages or collected naturally at various times in the postoperative period.
