FIELD: nanotechnologies.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to nanoparticles and methods for production thereof. Nanoparticle suitable for removal of stones in the urinary system contains nucleus nanoparticles, made from magnetic substance; and a nanoparticle cladding formed by modifying in situ the surface of the nanoparticle core with a surface modifier using an initiator and/or a cross-linking agent. After surface modification and functionalisation, surface of nanoparticles has amide bond or carboxyl group, and weight percentage of shell is 0.5–45 % , relative to weight of nanoparticles. Also disclosed is a version of nanoparticles, a method of producing nanoparticles, a composition suitable for removing stones, as well as use of nanoparticles.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides rapid removal of stones from the body without damaging the ureter wall under the action of an external magnetic field.
