FIELD: modeling of communication networks.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to simulation of communication networks and can be used in planning the functioning of dynamically interacting elements of communication networks with different interface elements. Technical result is achieved by determining a list of the required number and types of additional interfaces for each given protocol from a list of protocols which ensure the performance of communication network operation requirements for each mating node. Initial state of the communication network is modeled taking into account physical and geographical conditions, composition and needs of the corporate control system, telecommunication equipment of the area and the initial position of the mobile component of the communication network. Operation of the communication network is simulated taking into account current changes in the composition, structure and requirements of the control system. Statistics on coupling unit communication results are collected. Minimum list of required number and types of additional interfaces for each specified protocol is determined to meet the requirement of probability of conjugation of any mobile node with any stationary node.

EFFECT: technical result is provision of accessibility of stationary communication networks resources for mobile communication nodes connected to them with various interfacing elements by determining a list of the required number and types of additional interfaces for each given protocol from a list of protocols, which ensure the performance of communication network functioning requirements, for each mating node.
