FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to scintillation inorganic oxide monocrystals with garnet structure containing gadolinium, yttrium, cerium, beryllium and solted by at least one element of the second group of Mg, Ca, Sr. Technical result is achieved due to fact that containing yttrium and gadolinium monocrystal with garnet structure is doped with cerium and beryllium and one of elements of second group of Ba, or Sr, or Ca at specified ratio. This monocrystal is produced by Czochralski method with subsequent isothermal annealing.

EFFECT: invention increases output of scintillations, reduces its temperature dependence, shortens scintillation kinetics and increases energy resolution of scintillation detectors when detecting ionizing radiation.
