FIELD: data processing.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of primary and secondary emission of electronic digital bills and making a payment using an electronic digital banknote. Method consists in generation of local secure database of the device of the emission center of the payment system a private identifier of an electronic digital bill, which is an ordered pair of numbers {N, S}, in local protected database of payment system center of payment system, where N is a unique secret number of the electronic digital banknote, S is the denomination of the electronic digital banknote, in forming a public identifier of the electronic digital banknote, which is an ordered pair of numbers {h, S}, where h = f ({N, S}), and f(X) is a predefined computationally irreversible function known to all billing system members, then device of payment system center of payment sends pair {h, S}, signed with electronic-digital signature of emission center, to device of payment system operator, which, under validity of signature of emission center, records pair {h, S} in database of payment system server and sends a device for a payment system center notification on successful registration of a pair {h, S} in a database of a payment system server.

EFFECT: technical result consists in processing data of electronic digital bills.
