FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to a method for analysing the emotional perception of audiovisual content in a group of users. At that, audiovisual content is presented to each user from a group of users. While viewing the content, the user is photoplethysmography (PPG) and measuring the skin electroconductivity reaction. Current average emotional valency is determined for each second by calculating difference in amplitudes of the upper and lower PCG envelope. Current average index of emotional involvement is determined for each second by calculating the sum of the first derivative of the skin electroconductivity function and 40 % of the first derivative of the emotional valence in the corresponding second. Each user from a group of users is presented with a test stimulus in the form of a sound signal with duration of 2 s and loudness of 65 dB. Test values of emotional valence and emotional involvement are determined upon presentation of a test stimulus for each user. Current values of emotional valence and emotional involvement are standardized when viewing audiovisual content on test values. Obtained normalized average values of different users are compared in the group and group laws of emotional perception of audiovisual content are determined.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of rapid analysis of emotional responses in a specific respondent in every second time of viewing audiovisual content and comparing emotional responses of different people when viewing audiovisual content, as well as calculating statistical parameters when analysing group patterns of emotional perception of audiovisual content for a group of respondents.
