SUBSTANCE: invention refers to internal diseases and aims at diagnosing the contribution of the renal pathology to the calculated glomerular filtration rate. Patient's age is determined, creatinine is measured in blood serum. Then predicted glomerular filtration rate (B) is determined by formula CKD-EPI for given age and sex of person with serum creatinine 80 mcmol/l for females and 100 mcmol/l for males. Calculated glomerular filtration rate (C) is then determined in accordance with the detected serum creatinine level. Thereafter, the contribution of the renal pathology to the calculated glomerular filtration rate (A) is calculated by the claimed formula.
EFFECT: method enables eliminating the effect of age-related changes in the calculated glomerular filtration rate.
