SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of producing acrylic granules. Disclosed is a method of producing acrylic granulated particles, involving mixing at least one monomer with oligomeric seed particles and at least one initiator, wherein said mixing is carried out under conditions where at least one monomer is able to form an oligomer or polymer or mixture thereof, wherein said oligomeric seed particles are obtained by a method which enables to obtain precursor particles by mixing initial seed latex particles; monomer mixture, containing at least one monomer and at least one copolymerisable surfactant, at least one initiator; and chain transfer agent to obtain particles for pre-seeding, and mixing said particles for pre-seeding, monomer mixture, containing at least one monomer and at least one copolymerisable surfactant, and at least one initiator to obtain oligomeric seed particles.
EFFECT: technical result is method enables to obtain homogeneous monodisperse acrylic granules, having mechanical and chemical resistance.
