FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of the chemical industry and serves to dry high-moisture pasty materials. Inert carrier for drying suspensions and pasty materials in suspended layer is made from elastic polymer material, wherein the inert carrier comprises an elastic shell with rod elements arranged on the outside to form a comb-like shape and a thermobimetallic element disposed therein, under the effect of temperature change, the surface shape of the inert carrier changes abruptly.
EFFECT: technical result is intensification of the drying process, high efficiency of the apparatus and improved cleaning conditions of the working surface of the drying apparatus.
