SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of chemical industry and is used for drying high-moisture paste-like materials. The installation for drying pasty materials in a swirling suspended layer of inert bodies contains a biconical chamber of a suspended swirling layer of inert bodies, a separation chamber, tangential inlets of the main heat carrier, a central cone, a spunbond feeder of a wet product, and to create transverse jet flows of an inert carrier, internal sector plates are used, distributed along the height of the working chamber, and separate inputs of additional coolant.
EFFECT: increasing plant productivity and improving the quality of finished products.
