SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the drying technique, and more specifically to the with an active hydrodynamic mode, which are intended for drying paste-like materials, and can be used in the manufacture of food products, medical preparations and dyes. This plant for drying paste-like materials in the twisted suspended layer of inert bodies contains the biconical chamber of suspended weighted layer of inert bodies with the upper and lower tiers, tangential inputs of the main and additional coolant, feeder and membranous partition. In order to intensify the drying process and increase the productivity of the dried product, an adjustable diaphragm partition is used to separate the swirling layer of inert bodies and to divide the working area of the plant into two tiers with different hydrodynamic modes.

EFFECT: creation of the plant for drying paste-like materials in the twisted suspended layer of inert bodies, which allows to intensify the drying process and increase productivity by using the adjustable membranous partition, which sets the optimum volume ratio of layers in the upper and lower tiers when drying specific wet paste-like materials.
