FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of non-destructive inspection of objects, namely, crankshaft of automobile engines. Method includes following stages: measurement of vibroacoustic oscillations of crankshaft at pulse action, applying to obtained vibroacoustic signal of low-frequency filtration, approximation of obtained impulse response function by means of analytical expressions, calculation of transfer function of crankshaft dynamic system, construction of amplitude-frequency characteristic of crankshaft dynamic system by obtained transfer function, determining Q-factor of the system from the obtained amplitude-frequency characteristic, comparing the obtained Q-factor of the dynamic system of the crankshaft with the standard defect-free Q-value, rejection of crankshaft in case of defect detection in it and sending for recycling. In compliance with Q-factor of considered crankshaft it is restored to standard values.
EFFECT: technical result consists in reduction of labor intensity of the defect and increase in its objectivity.
