SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment field. Portable X-ray image former comprises: a portable main body having an image forming button and configured to carry, a radiation emitter configured to emit radiation through a guide tube extending from the center of said portable main body, and a radiation detector configured to detect radiation emitted from said emitter and transmitted through the object, wherein the radiation detector is configured to measure the distance to the object when the radiation detector is set to the image forming preparation mode, wherein distance from said radiation emitter is measured when distance to object is within preset proximity control distance, wherein resolution of image generation permission is transmitted to said radiation emitter when separation distance from said radiation emitter is greater than or equal to preset control separation distance, wherein said emitter is configured to emit radiation in response to actuation of an image forming button when a resolution signal for generating an image is obtained, and do not emit radiation independently of actuation of said image forming button, if resolution of image generation is not obtained from radiation detector.
EFFECT: technical result of the disclosed invention is higher user safety.
