SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cargo transportations on transport, in particular to road transport of cable-rope drums, and can be used for unwinding of cable-rope drums in places of loading/unloading. Universal mechanical device for fastening cable-rope drums during cargo transportation with possibility of unwinding comprises metal hollow platform (1) with blind ends (4), one of which is flat, detachable rollers (5) in flange on flanging, handle (3) for carrying, as well as detachable anti-slip pads, vertical parallel slots and additional holes on flanging for fixation of rollers and pads. Pads are made in the form of two parallel gussets with holes on flanks of their bases for attachment to platform and stiffness bridges, on one of which is rotatably mounted sole with corrugated knuckle on outer side and vertical groove on inner side for spherical end face of clamping bolt baited in threaded hole of resistance plate, which is installed on any other of reinforcement bridges. Rollers have corrugated knurling and through holes coinciding with additional holes on flanging for locking by steel pin.
EFFECT: invention provides use of the device for different standard sizes of cable-rope drums and their unwinding.
