FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for detection of electric current in conductors of electrical devices. Electric current converter comprises detachable housing 1 with hole 2 for placement of the controlled conductor. Housing 1 is made of two parts: base 3 and cover 4 with semicircular slots 5 and 6 with formation of round through hole 2 when closing the cover. Current converter comprises magnetically sensitive element 7 and magnetic flux concentrator, which is made of three parts, with possibility of connection of first part of concentrator 8 with ends of two other parts of concentrator 9 and 10, wherein an open circuit is formed, in the gap of which there is a magnetically sensitive element 7. In cover 4 there is elastic plate 11 interacting with the first part of concentrator 8. Housing 1 is made with possibility of connection of base and cover on guides, which are equipped with cover with slots, which are made in housing base. Converter is equipped with loop spring elements fixed at one end in base with possibility of rotation around attachment point, with arrangement of spring elements in recesses made in cover when fixing opposite ends. Base contains a crystal on the surface of which there is a magnetically sensitive element consisting of thin-film magnetoresistive elements connected to a Winston bridge circuit, above which a planar magnetization coil is located.

EFFECT: invention increases reliability of fixing a controlled conductor in the hole of an electrical current transducer, high sensitivity and accuracy of measurements.
