FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: inventions relate to measurement equipment and are designed to generate a given number of discrete increments of resistance relative to the nominal resistance of the simulated strain gage during metrological studies, calibration and checking of high-speed measuring systems in automatic mode. Technical result in the method of forming steps of resistance increment in a four-wire resistance signal simulator is achieved by the fact that in a piezoresistor signal simulator, which consists of a switch with n + 1 inputs and one output and a stepper of increments of resistance of the resistive strain gage, which is a circuit of series-connected resistors, one of which is a reference, on one side is connected to the current and measurement outputs of the simulator, and on the other side - through a circuit of series-connected n resistors of the simulation steps is connected to the current output of the second pair of outputs of the simulator, measuring output of which is connected to the output of the switch, the inputs of which are connected in series to all outputs of n resistors of the simulation steps, consisting in selection of the range and number of stages of resistance increments of the resistance simulator of the strain gauges, calculating the value of the calculated pitch of the resistance increment and the value of the resistance of the reference resistor, switch is connected to outputs of resistors of simulation stages to measuring output of second pair of outputs of simulator, wherein in one cycle of switching n + 1 switch inputs on measuring outputs of the signal simulator, voltage is generated in series, thereby forming steps of increment of resistance relative to the nominal resistance of the simulated strain gage, in addition, after formation of steps of increment of resistance at each of 1 to n-th connected inputs of switch resistance of reference resistor is increased consecutively m times by value equal to ratio of resistance value of resistor of simulation stage to m + 1, forming on measuring outputs of simulator of signals mn of voltages, which value is proportional to increments of resistance.

EFFECT: technical result of the present inventions is expansion of functional capabilities of four-wire simulator of signals of resistive strain gage, which includes n resistors of simulation stages, to ensure the required accuracy of metrological studies, calibrating and calibrating high-speed measuring systems by increasing the number of increments of resistance increment formed in the simulator from n + 1 to [(m + 1) n + 1], where m is the number of additionally formed steps of resistance increment within one design pitch of the increment of resistance in four-wire strain gage signal simulator.
