FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of hydrography, in particular to methods and technical means of determining corrections to depths, measured by a multi-beam echo sounder when recording the topography of the water area bottom. Disclosed device is equipped with computer system for determination of unknown depths and required geodetic coordinates of their place, as well as desired corrections to measured depth, implementing new formula relationships, which input is connected through control unit to outputs of measuring receiving unit, receiver of satellite radio navigation system of type GPS or GLONASS, marine integrated small-size system of Kama type, sound velocity transducer in water of TZO-2 type, and its output with input of unit for determining corrections to depths, measured by a multi-beam echo sounder when recording the bottom topography of the water area.
EFFECT: significant simplification of the process and reduced labour intensity of determining corrections to depths, measured by a multi-beam echo sounder over its entire measured range, due to the absence in comparison with the prototype of the necessity to use standardized measuring devices (two hydrostatic pressure sensors and water temperature) in the claimed invention to provide the metrological characteristics of the depths measured by the echo sounder.
