SUBSTANCE: use: to determine corrections to depths. Summary of invention consists in the fact that device for determining corrections to depths, measured by echo sounder when recording the topography of the water area bottom, comprising a transmitter and a measuring receiving unit, connected respectively to the radiating and receiving antennae, a recorder and a control unit connected to the measuring receiving unit, a base with hydrostatic pressure and temperature sensors, the outputs of which through the control unit are connected to the input of the depth correction unit, measured by the echo sounder, the input of which is connected through the control unit to the output of the transceiver unit, and the output is connected with recorder input, sensors of horizontal and vertical displacements, sound velocity measurement sensor in water, relative speed meter, magnetic compass and gyro-azimuth-horizon-type compass, receiver-receiver of satellite navigation system, wherein the base is mounted on the external bar parallel to the ship bottom and rigidly articulated with the ship hull, the transceiving unit mounted on the base is made in the form of a laser emitter and an optical receiver, characterized in that the base is in form of a self-propelled deep-water vehicle equipped with a scheduler, a hydroacoustic communication modem, a reflector, a profilograph for determining a flat ground surface, a soil classifier, a water transparency determining sensor, a unit for recalculating measured depth taking into account water transparency, measured at least three horizons in depth.
EFFECT: possibility of obtaining reliable measurements when calibrating echo sounders.
