FIELD: measurement; test.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of hydrography, in particular to methods and technical means for determining corrections to depths measured by a single beam echo sounder when surveying the water area bottom configuration. In addition, in the claimed method and device, in comparison with the prototype, enabled expansion of their functionalities by determining the geodetic coordinates of the transceiver sonar immersion depths measuring points with the required accuracy in the process of these corrections determining, and, consequently, enabling the possibility to create in the water area bottom configuration survey of reference hydrographic points for echo sounders calibrating in the survey water area in order to ensure the uniformity of measurements. Claimed device is equipped with a satellite radio navigation system receiver of the GPS type, which antenna is fixed at the base upper end, marine integrated small-size navigation system of the "KAMA" type, secured in the cardan suspension, calculating unit for determining the required claimed device sampling part immersion depths geodetic coordinates measuring, which implements the new formula dependencies.
EFFECT: technical result is that when using the claimed method and the device for its implementation, these corrections determining process is substantially simplified in comparison with the analog due to the fact that for their determination only the claimed device intake part immersion depths, measured by the hydro acoustic method, are used during its immersion to the specified level and rise to the water surface, as well as new formula dependencies are used.
