SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment for confectionery products production. Proposed apparatus for making cotton candy includes a body, a base with an electric motor, a spinning head, a shell ring with a cover, an impeller and a diffuser with blades bent in a vertical plane and located on its inner surface. Spinning head with shell and cover is installed on electric motor shaft. Impeller is fixed to the spinning head, and the diffuser is fixed on the base. Apparatus is additionally equipped with rubber-coated supports for the catcher arranged on the body. In the diffuser bottom there are air intake holes. Shell is made in the form of a steel ring with longitudinal slots. On inner side of ring adjoins spiral tubular heating element.

EFFECT: invention can be used at catering and trade enterprises, in particular, for production of cotton candy.
