FIELD: test technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to testing of fuel equipment of diesel internal combustion engines. Method of estimating of inter-cycle non-uniformity fuel supply by electrically controlled injectors involves installation of the tested nozzle on the stand so that its sprayer is placed in the receiving chamber of the stand, where a pressure sensor is installed. Pressure sensor detects fuel pressure inside sprayer housing in so-called sprayer well. Cyclic feed is measured for control amount of injections. Cycle feed per one injection is calculated to confirm the compliance of the actual operating conditions of the injector with the preset mode. After confirmation of conformity of actual operating mode to preset mode, measurement of pressure in receiving chamber with further processing of received signals is performed. Electronic unit of the bench forms an array of values from the pressure sensor in the receiving chamber and a time sensor, which is a mandatory accessory of any test bench. Unit cyclic feed is calculated as area under pressure curve. Array of cyclic feed values is generated, from which the electronic stand unit automatically selects the minimum, maximum and average values and calculates the greatest deviation from the average.

EFFECT: invention allows reducing duration of tests of electrically controlled nozzles.
