FIELD: oil, gas and coke-chemical industries.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to treatment of water-oil emulsions, in particular to methods providing separation of water-oil emulsions using dispersion of demulsifier by ultrasonic action. Method for ultrasonic dispersion of demulsifier in water-oil emulsion, wherein volume of water-oil emulsion, temperature of which ranges from 25 °C to 60 °C, adding demulsifier and subjecting obtained mixture to ultrasound action in flow channel, in which conditions of cylindrical or quasi-cylindrical focusing acoustic concentrator with resonance frequency from 19 kHz to 25 kHz are created, wherein such channel length and/or flow rate is selected, at which time of action on water-oil emulsion entering into channel is not less than 20 s.
EFFECT: high dispersal efficiency of the demulsifier in the water-oil emulsion, which leads to improvement and acceleration of the process of separation of the water-oil emulsion, as well as to saving the amount of the de-emulsifier used.
