FIELD: heat exchange.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for heat insulation of pipelines and cylindrical vessels. Metal thermal insulation (MTI) is made of modules which are docked to each other. At that, each annular heat-insulating assembly of MTI for one radius of insulated equipment consists of identical modules containing inside set of coaxial metal membranes, flanged and equal to height of side faces located under external angle Y to plane of membrane. Various types of heat-insulating blocks are replaced with symmetrical modules - one type per each radius of insulated equipment. Heat-insulating material of glass fibre or basalt filler is replaced with metal stainless membranes.
EFFECT: invention significantly saves the weight of stainless steel of heat insulation, unifies thermal insulation, increases operational reliability of heat-insulating modules, due to unification considerably reduces the cost of manufacturing.
