BOARD GAME "GLIA" FOR REHABILITATION OF NEUROLOGICAL PATIENTS Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC A63F3/00

Abstract RU 2725052 C1

FIELD: medicine; games.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to games promoting development of inter-neuronal communication responsible for motor and sensitive functions not only in contralateral cerebral hemisphere, but also ipsilateral. Board game for rehabilitation of neurological patients is created containing a playing field and game figures. Game comprises two sets of game figures having different game and color purposes, made in the form of a pyramid, a cube and a hemisphere. One set of game figures has a smooth surface, and the second one has a rough surface. Playing field has the shape of rectangle with placement on it of active playing area in the form of brain image with cells made in the form of neurons, which nuclei have shape of triangle, square and circle, and protuberances therefrom are closed game paths in the form of "neural network". Part of the neuron in the form of a triangle with the letter "n" is placed in the center of each closed playing way. In the lower inactive zone of the playing field there are two plates with a triangular slot, designed to collect a whole neuron from parts of a triangular neuron with the letter "n".

EFFECT: technical result consists in widening the range of technical means for rehabilitation of neurological patients with motor and sensitive deficiency with a reliable degree of effectiveness by simplifying the design of the game and increasing its amusement.
