FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method of controlling a drug aerosol delivery device is carried out using a drug aerosol delivery system. Control device comprises dispensing unit, processing unit and control unit. That is followed by data on duration of inhalation in one breath. Dispensed data on duration of inhalations are processed to obtain a sliding average value in one breath. Issued data on duration of inhalations are compared with the specified threshold value of inhalation duration. Issued inhalation duration data are filtered out below the preset threshold value. Filtration is the removal of issued data on duration of inhalation, which are below a given threshold value, and replacement of such data with a sliding average value of previous inhalation. Medication aerosol delivery device is controlled on the basis of filtered data on duration of inhalations.
EFFECT: improved control of the drug aerosol delivery device, which, in particular, enables to reduce the length of the therapeutic procedure.
