SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the development of a biocatalyst intended for esterification of various organic acids. Disclosed are a biocatalyst for producing esters in the process of enzymatic esterification of organic acids, a method for preparing it and a method of producing esters in fermentative esterification. Biocatalyst contains recombinant lipase R Pichia/lip adsorbed on a porous carrier in amount of 30–100 mg/g. Carrier is a granular macroporous carbon airgel with specific surface area of 80–100 m²/g, average pore diameter of 0.5–1 mcm, bulk density of 0.06–0.08 g/cm³. Biocatalyst is prepared by adsorption of recombinant lipase Pichia/lip on granular macroporous carbon aerogel for not more than 24 hours. Esters are obtained by enzymatic esterification of organic acids in presence of alcohols in organic solvent and obtained biocatalyst.

EFFECT: group of inventions increases enzymatic activity and stability of the biocatalyst in esterification processes of a wide range of acids and alcohols; biocatalysts retain initial activity during periodic esterification processes for at least 260 hours.
