FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing heat-resistant coatings on steel and can be used in making parts of power and chemical plants having high heat resistance. Stack of steel plate and nichrome plates 0.8–1 mm thick are arranged on both sides. Welding is carried out by explosion of these plates at speed of detonation of charges of explosive 2,240–2,950 m/s. Height of charges of explosive substance and welding gaps between welded metals are selected proceeding from condition of obtaining speed of collision of nichrome plates with steel plate within 550–660 m/s. Both nichrome layers are aluminized in molten aluminum at 720–760 °C for 0.015–0.025 hours. Heat treatment of produced billet is carried out in aluminum melt at 1,000–1,100 °C and holding at this temperature for 3–8 hours.
EFFECT: technical result is increase in the heat-resistant coatings operating temperature in the oxidising gaseous media and simplification of the coating production method.
