FIELD: metal coating.
SUBSTANCE: method for producing a two-layer heat-resistant coating on the surface of a titanium plate using the energy of explosives used in the manufacture of parts for power and chemical plants. A package is made up of a clad nichrome plate 0.8-1 mm thick and a clad titanium plate 4-8 mm thick. A protective layer with an explosive charge is placed over the package and explosion welding is carried out at a detonation speed of the explosive charge of 2190-3060 m/s to obtain a bimetallic workpiece. The height of the explosive charge, the material and thickness of the protective layer on the surface of the nichrome plate, as well as the welding gap between the welded plates are selected from the condition of obtaining a collision speed of 490-570 m/s. The resulting bimetallic workpiece is hot rolled at a temperature of 590-610°C, ensuring compression of the nichrome layer to a thickness of 0.4-0.5 mm. Then the nichrome layer is aluminized in molten aluminum at a temperature of 720-760°C for 1.2-6 minutes, after which heat treatment is carried out at a temperature of 850-900°C for 15-20 hours.
EFFECT: obtaining a coating with increased heat resistance in oxidizing gas environments and increased resistance to brittle fracture under thermal cycling and dynamic loads, capable of long-term resistance to gas corrosion even in the event of damage to the outer layer of the coating.
