FIELD: transportation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of controlling shunting movements of rail vehicles. System comprises station navigation signal receiver 2 installed at station, station attendant AWS computer 3, station communication system 12, remote control panel 13 of shunting locomotive, control computer complex 1 of shunting automatic locomotive signaling equipped with software and hardware units (19, 20) of simulators simulating in pairs the operation of units of onboard control device 4, units 21 for comparing operation identity of corresponding pairs of simulator units, computing device 22. At that, on each involved shunting locomotive there is an on-board control device 4, which includes communication controller 5, an on-board navigation signal receiver 6, receiving-transmitting device 7, control unit 8, traction 9 and braking 10 control means, information monitoring and processing unit 11, communication controller 5, navigation signal receiver 6, transceiver 7, unit 14 of permitted modes, indication unit 15 and locomotive emergency stop signal generator 16, sensors 17 of technical and dynamic characteristics of operation of power devices and movement of locomotive.

EFFECT: increase in the safety integrity level of the system is achieved.
