FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine, specifically to biotechnology and immunology, and can be used to produce tuberculin for diagnosing human tuberculosis. For this purpose, the nutrient medium for culturing mycobacteria for producing the tuberculoprotein allergen contains, g/l: aminoethanoic acid 7.8–8.2; ammonium citrate 4.8–5.3; potassium hydroorthophosphate 2.8–3.0; sodium carbonate decahydrate 2.8–3.0; sodium chloride 1.9–2.1; magnesium sulphate 0.9–1.2; orthophosphoric acid 0.4–0.6; propanetriol-1,2,3 63.7–64.0; iron (III) citrate 0.45–0.5; water for injection up to 1.0 l. At that, orthophosphoric acid is added to establish medium pH 7.0±0.1. Group of inventions refers to a composition for diagnosis of tuberculosis disease, as well as to use of tuberculoprotein for diagnosis of tuberculosis.

EFFECT: use of the given group of inventions promotes creation of conditions for cultivation of 2-3 strains of Mycobacterium tuberculosis "Dt/Strain", "T-3480", Mycobacterium bovis "Vallee" without autolysis due to excess of phosphorus and nitrogen, allowing to build up 1–3 strains for 8–10 weeks and significantly increasing total yield of tuberculoprotein – more than 70 %.
