FIELD: railway automation and telemechanics.

SUBSTANCE: method of checking transported automatic locomotive signalling devices consists in the fact that working and test actions are generated, which simulate operating conditions of rolling stock, and reactions of locomotive train traffic safety device are recorded on them. Wherein prior to checking, trip file is obtained and processed with due allowance for actual information on failures in operation of locomotive train traffic safety device, the characteristics of the electromagnetic environment in which each failure occurred are determined. Checks simulating the electromagnetic environment characteristic at the moment of occurrence of each failure in the operation of the corresponding device are included in the program. When generating working and test effects, interference is generated, which is equivalent to conditions of failure in operation of the device and takes into account the nature of the external electromagnetic field generated by the power equipment of the railway rolling stock.

EFFECT: increasing the accuracy of checking of mobile automatic locomotive signalling devices.
