FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method and device for monitoring the deviation of a descending aircraft from the axis of the runway (RWY). To control the declining aircraft deflection, the localizer beacon signals are received by two antennae located in a certain manner near the runway, landing signal parameters are measured, as well as a third antenna oriented with a maximum of the upward direction of the beam pattern, measuring the information parameter in the signals reflected from the landing aircraft, calculating a deviation from the heading plane and from the axis of the runway, transmitting information on deviation value to command-dispatch station. Proposed device comprises three antennas, two landing signal meters, communication line with command dispatcher station and information device.
EFFECT: higher safety of aircraft landing.
