FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine. Spinal traction method consists in placing a patient lying on a support surface supporting physiological spinal bends and on a headrest moved longitudinally relative to its base, and spinal traction is performed. Movement of the headrest is ensured by the condition that muscle tone does not increase in the process of loading around the spine and spinal structure is stabilized in the new states, and spinal traction is performed with zoning of the exposure in advance and during the procedure. Device for spinal traction comprises a base, a head restraint for laying the human head movable relative to the base, having a mechanism for moving the head restraint relative to the base and a supporting surface of the location supporting physiological spinal bends. Movement mechanism has a braking unit designed to prevent reverse travel of the headrest. Device has a means of changing load zones on the spine.
EFFECT: inventions provide higher efficiency of spinal traction by avoiding traumatic effects during the procedure and higher accuracy of exposure.
