SUBSTANCE: method and device for correction and treatment of spinal column relates to medicine, namely to facilities for physiotherapy. Method provides for placement of patient onto support surface with body support in lower lumbar area and in headrest, which is freely moved in longitudinal direction relative to support surface, and spinal column extension. Patient is placed into support surface in the form of profiled back support with end support ledge on the side of lower lumbar area. Previously initial height and position of headrest relative to support surface are selected in accordance with character of spinal column curvature in cervical spine. Headrest freely moves in longitudinal direction relative to support surface. Device for correction and treatment of spine includes back support and support unit for head with headrest. Back support is arranged in the form of cushion profiled in longitudinal section with support end ledge on the side of lower lumbar area of patient. Headrest is arranged with the possibility of interaction with suboccipital area of head and is installed with the possibility of free motion in longitudinal direction along inclined guides under weight of patient's head. Inclined guides are installed on the base with the possibility of support and struts adjustment along height. Headrest is equipped with fixator of initial position and facility for initial starting of headrest.

EFFECT: method and device provide for stretching effect onto spinal column along line of natural curvature.
