FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil and gas industry, specifically to means of oil and gas filtration. Device contains nipples and filtering element containing stringers laid parallel to well filter axis between limiting rings, and coils of profiled wire wound on them. Stringers are made in form of an I-beam with two bases, arranged radially and one of their base contacts with coils of profiled wire, wherein height of stringer is made from the following ratio: H₂=(2.3…2.8)w₁, where H₁ – height of stringer, w₁ – width of smaller base of stringer.

EFFECT: reduced weight, simplified design at increase in bending strength, preservation of torsion strength and provision of effective cleaning.
