FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, particularly, to hinged screw conveyors. Hinged screw conveyor consists of horizontal and inclined parts with shaft, spiral tape and drive attached to it. Shafts of both parts with common drive are connected by cardan hinge. Spiral length of horizontal section is limited by hinge axis. Diameter of the spiral of the inclined section exceeds the diameter of the spiral of the horizontal section. Cantilever part at the end of the tape is made with overlapping the zone of placement of the end section of the horizontal part.
EFFECT: enabling the design simplification.
