FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: flexible screw conveyor consists of horizontal and inclined parts with shafts and attached to it spiral belt and drive. Shafts of both parts with common drive are connected with section arranged between them, made of flexible material, above which there inserted is section of spiral from material of increased elasticity, for example spring steel, wherein the flexible section of the spiral is attached to the shaft only along the edges outside the flexible section of the shaft and is installed with a gap with it. As flexible section of shaft there used is steel multicore cable with direction of winding, which coincides with direction of transmitted torque.
EFFECT: simplified conveyor due to use of one common drive.
