FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, particularly, to design of friction machines simulating tribological processes in friction pairs "cylinder-cylinder", and is intended to determine dependence of contact fatigue of cylindrical surfaces on angle of skew between their axes. Test bench represents a friction gear driven by an electric motor, comprises a support frame with welded lower and upper half-cases, lower and upper supports arranged in said half-cases with upper and lower shafts installed in them. Upper shaft is located in floating support installed with possibility of movement relative to upper half-case by means of linear guides. Cover with a vertical threaded hole is installed on the upper half-case for installation of a pressure screw with a lever. In the cavity between the cover and the floating support there installed is an electronic compression dynamometer, under which the ball is located. As bottom supports spherical roller bearings are used, and one of lower supports is installed with possibility of movement in vertical plane, at that, movements are set by means of screw pair. As tested samples inner rings of roller bearing without collars are used on inner raceway. Upper and lower shafts are made with holes for pressing of roller bearing rings. Lower shaft is connected to the electric motor by means of a toroidal coupling.
EFFECT: possibility of studying effect of skews on operation of roller bearings and more accurate prediction of service life of roller bearings.
