FIELD: electrical measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electric measuring equipment and can be used for remote monitoring of high-voltage insulators operating state. Device for diagnosing the state of high-voltage insulators includes a signal source, transmitting and receiving electromagnetic antennae, an amplifier and an indicator, a circular waveguide, an output power meter and an amplitude detector. Output of the signal source is connected to the input of the output power meter and through the transmitting electromagnetic antenna to the input of the circular waveguide. Output of waveguide through receiving electromagnetic antenna is connected to input of amplitude detector, output of which is connected to input of amplifier. Output of the amplifier is connected to the input of the indicator.
EFFECT: technical result is simplification of diagnostic process.
