FIELD: oil transportation via main oil pipelines.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions can be used both in operated and at constructed oil transfer stations (OTS). In the proposed method of operation of OTS with two groups of electrically driven oil transfer pumps, two power gas turbine units are additionally used, using used as fuel processed associated gas. Electric generator of the first power plant is used to drive electric generator of electric motors of the first group of oil transfer pumps. Second power gas turbine plant drives electric generator of electric motors of the second group of oil pump pumps at constant current frequency, and also performs electric power supply of electric auxiliary needs of OTS. Pre-prepared associated petroleum gas is fed into combustion chambers of said plants. Energy of exhaust gases of gas turbine plants is used to heat pumped oil. At reduction of oil flow in the main oil pipeline power of the first power plant is reduced, number of electric generator revolutions and frequency of electric current and number of revolutions of oil pumps of the first group. At significant change of oil flow rate part of pumps of the second group is stopped and excess electric power is supplied from generator of the second power gas-turbine plant to external electric network.
EFFECT: use of power gas turbine plants enables to avoid using expensive external electric power and ensures reduction of prime cost of oil transportation along the main oil pipeline.
