Elasticized portion (G) has outer sheet (22) to be placed on a side that is spaced from the skin of the wearer, inner sheet (23) to be placed on the side which is closer to the skin of the carrier than outer sheet (22) and a plurality of elastic elements (24), which are arranged between the outer and inner sheets in a state in which the elastic elements are stretched in the lateral direction (Y) of the article. Outer sheet (22) and inner sheet (23) are partially connected to each other in connected zone (26). Connected zone (26) is located between unconnected zones (36), in which outer sheet (22) and inner sheet (23) are not connected to each other continuously in longitudinal direction of article or lateral direction of article. Plurality of connected zones (26) and multiple unconnected zones (36) are located with repetitions in longitudinal direction of article or lateral direction of article. Outer sheet (22) is configured to be deformed for buckling towards the side of the skin-free surface due to tightening of elastic elements (24) and forming a plurality of folds (29) extending along longitudinal direction (X) of the article or lateral direction (Y) article. Absorbing article (1) has holes passing through outer sheet (22) at certain points in folds (29) formed by outer sheet (22), wherein said points overlap elastic elements (24) in direction of thickness.
