FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to conformationally restricted analogues of galanin peptide, and can be used in medicine. Invention enables to obtain a cyclic peptide analogue of galanin, wherein the galanin polypeptide is stabilized by lanthionine, i.e. contains (methyl)lanthionine bridge, as well as amino acid residue G on N-end is converted to pE.
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain a galanin analogue, the agonist activity of which with respect to GalR2 is higher than that of GalR1; invention can be used in therapy and prevention of inflammatory intestinal diseases.
