FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: hand gun automatic small arms comprises main parts of Kalashnikov assault rifle with muzzle braking compensator. On muzzle brake-compensator there is muzzle cover made of heat-resistant metal in form of automatic self-retaining cover, tubular part of the body of which is made with longitudinal and transverse incisions. Incisions form, on the edge of the end of the cover, two strips with hemispheres squeezed in their plane, with a bulge directed inside the body. Cover has the possibility of longitudinal displacement along muzzle braking-compensator with fixation of its position on it in two positions, for this purpose, two semi-circular grooves are made along external perimeter of compensator brake to provide fixation of cover in closed and open positions. Outer surfaces of machine and cover are covered with khaki dull paint layer.
EFFECT: providing protection of barrel bore and assault rifle units against ingress of water, sand and garbage, masking in light and dark time of day in summer time.
