FIELD: measurement.

SUBSTANCE: system for measuring inspection of butt joints is intended for use in welding, namely as a device for measurement control of dimensions of welded seams and external defects of welded seams and joints. System for measuring inspection of butt joints includes a mechanical device for measuring width of a welded seam, configured to move across the weld and including a scale and a size indicator, device for measuring height dimensions of weld seam, made with possibility of movement relative to surface of seam, equipped with arresting device and measuring element, device for movement of device for measurement of height dimensions of weld seam made digitally along welded seam. Device for measurement of welded seam dimensions is fixed on appliance for its vertical displacement and is connected with device for data transfer. Device for transmitting information is connected to an information processing device.

EFFECT: measurement, transmission and processing of information on width and height dimensions of welded seam, higher quality, accuracy and reliability of measurement control, ease of use.
